Our Story
Second Generation Greens is rooted in legacy, family, and a deep respect for the land. We bring generational farming knowledge to your table with our fresh, local microgreens.

Legacy in Motion
Our story begins with William Richard Rucker, affectionately known as Daddy Rabbit, a farmer who believed that good food starts with patience, care, and intention. Alongside him was his wife, Sarah Jean Rucker, a devoted gardener whose hands nurtured life season after season. Together, they cultivated more than crops they cultivated knowledge, discipline, and love for the earth.

Tradition Grown Forward
That wisdom didn’t stop with them. Second Generation Greens represents the next chapter where generational farming knowledge meets modern, sustainable growing practices. We specialize in fresh, vibrant microgreens grown with the same respect for the soil that was passed down through our family, now reimagined for today’s kitchens and communities.

Nourishing Body and Soul
Every harvest reflects our values: Locally grown, Freshly harvested, Nutrient-dense, and Intentionally cultivated. We believe food should nourish more than the body it should carry a story. From chefs and restaurants to families and local markets, our greens are grown to support health, creativity, and connection.
"Second Generation Greens isn't just farming; it's legacy in motion and tradition grown forward."
